Time traveling in from October 1977… this Brother Profile Electric 12 electric typewriter has been tested and is fully-functional and SUPER CLEAN! I’m not sure there’s a mark to be found on this gem - look at the pics and judge for yourself. It’s a beauty!
There is nothing… absolutely NOTHING that I know of that should be disclosed. It’s just perfect and ready to go to work for you.
I’d like to highlight some things about this exceptional machine:
1. No power carriage return is a FEATURE! Who doesn’t LOVE sliding the carriage using the lever, honestly? This is an electric that still lets you have fun.
2. Power shift (which on a carriage shift machine is so sweet!)
3. Power repeat space, power repeat back space, repeat “x”… AWESOME!
4. Sumptuous, rubbery-soft platen… it’s like new!
5. The CUPPIEST keys I think I’ve ever experienced. If you don’t know what cuppy keys are, Google it. They’re AMAZING!
6. Detachable power cord
7. Fast. I mean LIGHTNING FAST. I don’t think you or anyone you know is going to be able to out-type this machine.
8. Perfect keyboard arrangement imho. This is SUCH a sweet machine to type on… especially for long sessions. Want to write your book on a typewriter? This is the machine to use.
9. Nice case!
10. Honestly, I just KNOW I’m gonna regret selling this peach as much as I know YOU’RE gonna LOVE having it.
